ey just wanted to say thanks for the tip about using the Apple TV to bluetooth to my noise cancelling headphones!
Very happily using them with my TV now.

  4. If you are using a cable box through HDMI, you will need to connect your RF headphones directly to the cable box, depending on your TV. I’ve been searching through so many tutorials, and no one shows you how to get sound from your headphones when trying to connect directly to the TV when there is only HDMI, AVI and Component. When I try connecting to the TV with the headphones they will not work in any input mode other than AVI, if you use an RCA to headphone jack. But doing so, it will not work while using HDMI. I’m trying to get these headphones set up so they will work with Chromecast, but nothing is working.

  5. This was helpful thank you. Does anyone know if you are able to use the Roku headphone remote to be able to hear movies played using a DVD player? I want to be to use headphones for more than just streaming and wondered if the Roku choice would fit the bill. Thanks.

  6. a nice lump sum of useless information that told me nothing I was looking for, a lot junk I didn’t need to know.

  7. Those information you giving us everybody knows what we need is how to connect ours to the TV because we’re not able to

  8. I thought Bluetooth was radio frequency. What frequency is it anyone know I’m too lazy to look it up

  9. ANY?? TV… ? Nah. This tutorial failed to consider TVs that have no audio output jack, whatsoever. e.g., stateroom TV on Princess cruise ship Discovery. Great new ship, with horrendously bad audio on the wall-mounted TV.

  10. I connected some insignia headphones for my tv. I used a digital cord rather than the red and white ones. So far I am not able to get any sound. I was wondering if that Bluetooth adapter you mentioned would help? My question is what if I have no p!ace on the back of no my tv to connect it. I do see one spot for the that type of connection not sure what it’s for.

  11. Thank you can I confirm that if you also have a Panasonic speaker connected to ur smart tv ( which doesn’t have Bluetooth) will the purchasing of the Bluetooth converter from the tv still work through the Panasonic speaker to my Sony Bluetooth wireless headphones ? Sarah
